"The words of the tongue should have three gatekeepers.
"Is this true?
"Is it kind?
"Is it necessary?"
Arab Proverb p.233 of "WORDS TO LOVE BY, Daily Inspiration for Spiritual Living", Eknath Easwaran, NILGIRI PRESS (c)2005 The Blue Mountain Center of Meditation.
My professional and personal experiences over the last four years has convinced me that "Manage Your Emotions" is probably the most important personal skill an individual needs to excel at in order to excel in a world characterized by volatility, impermanence, and technological change.
From one of my favorite books: "Words To Live By" by Eknath Easwaran:
"The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, not to worry about the future, or to anticipate troubles, but to live the present moment wisely and earnestly. THE BUDDHA p.62"
"The words of the tongue should have three gatekeepers. Is this true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?"

The pace of technological change will require us to become Highly Adaptive Learners who can learn - unlearn -relearn at the pace of change. Many of us will have to change how we think; how we listen; how we manage our ego, mind, and emotions, and HOW WE COLLABORATE:
Thinking in ways that Smart Technology can't think well will be one of the critical differentiators of humans from the technology. Critical Thinking Skills will be mission critical in this new game of work.

The challenge every person will face as AI continues to get smarter and smarter is the challenge to learn-unlearn and relearn at the pace of technological change. That requires Adaptive Learning and management of one's inner self. Soft Skills will be as important as technical skills.
