I think Mark is really an assh*le here he really disrespected Immortal and his legacy.
Immortal and Kate were right to retire. The first was tired and the second didn't chose heroism and her power is really costly.
People say that he is a bad dad some even say abusive. I disagree. After rewatching the show and the special, i can say that he is rough but right. At least in the show.

@SecondUser2500 I think that with or without Robot it would have happen. Immortal can't support his immortality while Robot is just a tool that can die or become crazy or definitely evil with time.
Robot or not Earth was doomed
@HeartOfSword16 He was grieving and couldn't do justice to the fallen. No one wanted to take responsibility, no one paid for those who died and his complaints were invalidated.
While putting everything on Mark is not correct, it is the only target present.
SPOILER
I reread the comics after the show and i still don't like the fate of Robot, the hypocrisy of it. Robot was a monster but what Mark did looked like appropriation without cost.
#Invincible#Robot
@Daykerpriest@oxwiko Because Mark in an infinity of dimensions is very mostly evil an did a lot of sh*t to an infinity of Angstrom. When his plan failed countless memories flooded in and crossed.
Our Mark is mostly the victim of his evil variants across the mutiverse.
@Kingsle24602644 Their time in that dimension divided them. Rudy had to deal with an entire dimension, with racist and imperialist people while MG had to deal with an inability to communicate. Rudy wasn't cruel for the sake of it nor MG wasn't right. They failed in their communication.
@warrie2021 I would choose to stay in the alternate timeline because of the people i already saved.
The choice given to Mark wasn't a possibility to save everyone but sacrifice your daughter, bit abandoning all those you qaved and could save for your daughter.
