@BWJacksonX@2worldsPodcast@OzraeliAvi I am of this nature. More often than not its their choice what they identify as. Regardless aside from aboriginal the heritage as some point is likely European, its just how long ago. They all suffer the same issue regardless, European descendants are going sterile.
@karlstefanovic Please pay for X premium its not that much and your reach would be more consistent. No point being scint over a few bucks for the entire platform...
@delysscious7@ChrisMartzWX I agree acute famine and definitely some extra poverty from drought associated price increases combined with the cost of living rising and above points have material risk now.
The issue with reporting famine related deaths is you only find out the number after it ends...
@2worldsPodcast@realRick_AUS This acutely affected prime movers. Theres been a bit more openess in the dog and trailer side of trucking to keep subbies on, but its dwindling every year
Trucking changed a decade or two ago when every large enterprise (visy, fox, etc) changed their business model from hiring mum and dad subcontractor style business with 1-small fleet to preferring full time employed drivers. The change wasnt just about money. Beautocracy associated with legal issues like sick leave, insurance, injury related compensation, competition between sub contractors all played a role. Other issues like fleet availability are also harder to manage when the hiring company doesn't have control over repairing the machines. At the top of it all though, is an overbearing legislative framework that just made it more effort than reward to hire local Aussie businesses. Its much cheaper and legally easier to employ some low wage and skilled drivers from who cares where. That way atleast the enterprise manages all the legalities, maintained and risk.
@mikejh25@tompanos@sunriseon7 Its your choice to be ignorant of economic fact. The gearing change was one of many in an economy where prices are going up. You spook the market and you expect them to not react? I mean seriously. Your communist is showing. Why don't you just say you want price controls next?
@GrantLavac@JonStewartIL Oh please. HIBP is a mix of malware logs. Most of the data on the site comes from enterprise data breaches where individuals use the email. Unless theres malware logs listed as a breach source and was on his pc almost any sufficiently old email will have numbers. Cringe.
@clowndownunder Australia has never had a right to free speech. We have a constitution and no bill of rights. Dumbass in the video thinks he has the first amendment or something. How belligerent
Its not for no reason. Nat doesnt ask the right questions. Tom explained it in the interview. If you know more than basic economics its really not complicated unless you got socialist communist brained.
Prices rise when future costs go up, even if demand drops. Rents lock for 12+ months, so landlords must price in tomorrow's high inflation and demand today just to cover future taxes, insurance, and maintenance. It is standard risk management to avoid losses, not greed.
You should be asking where the demands coming from if we have a below replacement birth rate.
@tompanos@sunriseon7 You should be doing better to @tompanos. You probably dont care because you've made your money. Let us paupers have nothing and let us all go extinct while you eat your cake. They can rename the continent once theyre done selling us Australians into extinction
@tompanos@sunriseon7 Nat is infuriatingly soft and playing dumb
Cant stand it. Not one question about the demand from population growth. Makes me sick.
All you laptop class must think we are dumb and cant do arithmetic. 1 Canberra sized pop increase every year makes housing something something.
@BenSwann_ You do great work ben. I wish the algo could drive you more traffic that you deserve as a reward but it could also make you a target π. Love your work keep it up
@Quartermain10 Nah journalism has ruined it by failing in their duty as the fourth estate. You may aswell have joined them. If not you, your editor, the bosses and the owners...
