That’s strange. Is it the base variant that you’re looking to book? There’s a delay in Executive variant. Otherwise, check with Himgiri on Golf Course Road - they have the latest stock and best discounts. Got my Creta Excellence LR from them. Now planning to upgrade and Ioniq 5 was available only with them in Gurgaon.
Is it normal for Mahindra cars?
I went to a Mahindra showroom last week to check a car and saw a XUV 700 parked at the back of the store. Looking at the condition of the car, it looked old and dirty, definitely not like a brand new car, it had marks all over it and tires were dirty too. So, I assumed that it might have come for service & repair since workshop was nearby. Then, I saw someone hard buffing the car. An hour later, I saw them put red cloth on the car - all ready for delivery and it hit me so hard. All while I was there, I silently prayed to have the customer come soon so I could tell them all and have them do the PDI.
There are both sides to any story. While I have my sympathies for gig workers, they should understand that the customer did pay for the services and expects full service that they paid to be delivered. If the lady knew beforehand that her tub is faulty, she could’ve called the customer and her manager immediately upon receiving the booking and then proceed accordingly. Telling a customer about faulty product in the middle of the service, puts the customer in a hostile situation where the customer sometimes has to agree since the service was already begun and they have dedicated a time from their schedule.
I have personally had an experience with a beautician from UC, where the wiring was an issue with the tub and there was electricity flowing in the water. To this, the beautician had the audacity to say “Mam koi baat nahi, kabhi kabhi jhatka marta hai, aap uncomfortable ho toh geyser se garam paani lekar bucket use kar lete hain”. We live in a society where our first instinct is to empathise and believe in the version of “poor” and not the other side.
🚨Heartbreaking Tears: Desperate Gig Worker Left in Distress After Sudden Cancellation
Mental Harrasment : "Customer ne mujhe apne ghar se dhakka maar kar nikala hai "
Imagine reaching the doorstep, picking up the order, only for the customer to file a fake complaint.
Urban Company immediately canceled the booking without asking her side.
This is the brutal reality of their zero-security system. Working tirelessly, they rely on every rupee for basic survival.
Yet, their dignity is crushed instantly by heartless automated bias.
Listen to this gig worker's heartbreaking story firsthand, feel her pain, and raise your voice.
Platforms must stop prioritizing algorithms over human livelihoods.
Yeah, may be take a test drive with a different dealer for Creta. My Creta with 51.4 kwh battery, gives me around 470 kms range even with ac on. It’s been an year old already. Trust me, I took many test drives for EVs, even Tesla but found Hyundai to be the best. Tesla is great too but at that price point, their ADAS 2 is locked and you need to pay 7-8 lacs extra to unlock it.

In the vehicle that we test drove, the shockers were too hard. The screen was unresponsive, plus we couldn’t figure out if the car had dual climate control feature as there was no option for it. The RM who went with us, also couldn’t figure it out!
Plus, for a LFP battery of 79kwh, range at full charge was only around 500 which should ideally be much higher.
For comparison, did you take a test drive of Creta EV or Ioniq?
Not at all. Stay away from Mahindra for EVs atleast. For best reviews and research join Mahindra EV buyers WhatsApp group and you’ll get to know the truth.
We did a test drive this Sunday for XEV 9S for Above Pack 3 model and it’s such a bad car. You can compare it with Hyundai EVs and then take a decision.
@ConcordantVT@ThatsAarthi@nileshnolkha She has been on the treatment for last 15 years - painkillers and steroids. RA can’t be treated in 3-6 months. She has done everything possible to alleviate the pain.
@aayushirathi_ Take a tsp of ajwain with warm water. My cramps used to be so unbearable that I would nauseate because of pain and pain killer wouldn’t help too.
@ConcordantVT@ThatsAarthi@nileshnolkha She has already consulted rheumatologist all over India but there is no permanent cure for this. Just pain killers and steroids for a momentary relief. The steroids are silently killing her.
@mainbhiengineer Sometimes you need just need someone to guide you and show you the way. Premanand Maharaj ji’s aura is very different. I had the same thinking as you but once you meet him, it hits you!
@YusufDFI Don’t car insurance premiums reduce with time because car is a depreciating asset? I bought my car last year and renewed the insurance this year and paid just approx 60% of the original premium even after adding many add ons 😕
Ofcourse! That would save your and the candidate’s time. If you’ve the budget higher than their expectations, irrespective of their current CTC, and the candidate clears your interviews, offer them the upper band of the budget. The employee is engaged, happy and satisfied and the company gets a great talent too.
This is followed by US and UK MNCs too where they never ask for current comp but just the expectations to evaluate if they are in budget and interview accordingly to save everyone’s time.
Which market? For a techie with around 4 years experience, and with decent skills, I’ve hired candidates upwards of 30+ lacs.
If a candidate is confident of a jump from 7.2 to 16 lacs, she/ he would’ve definitely worked on some “fodu” project and upskilled themselves - the very reason you might have interviewed them.
I don’t get this thinking of some hiring managers - they’ll want to hire that certain kind of candidate with advanced skills but the salary would be shithole and they would just keep interviewing and never close the role.
I had a bad productive cough last year, so much so that the small plastic white bins that the hospital gave me used to be full in just an hour. All patchy mucus. The doctor prescribed me antitussives. As soon as I took it, I felt I would die. I was choking, my HR and BP shot up, my body trembling. I went to see the doctor again the following day and he gave me an alternate brand for the antitussive. Same thing. I went to see the doctor thrice and each time same treatment.
And the doctor was HOD Pulmonologist at a big private hospital in Gurgaon!!
I finally did some research, consulted a family doctor and he prescribed me expectorants. It took me 2 months to recover!!
@thatanyagirl Can someone explain how do you move to any random country you like? What visa? Do you go there for study or look out for a job in that country while in India and then move? 😕
I said I’m very very close, so I know both sides of the story :)
Even the guy who used to support his mother in everything blindly for initial 6 years due to manipulation, has finally started seeing through the patterns of his mom now and is being considerate for his wife.
@Raniisa_ It happens. I know someone very very close who was married into a family with net worth more than 100 cr but the MIL always created disputes even for a few hundred bucks. She used to even take away shagun ka lifafa that DIL and son used to get from anyone. Some are greedy people!
