...and thanks @mayemusk for raising one of a kind. Cheers.
@Debbiepaul002 @Debbiepaul001 I believe it is...once the old authenticator is restored on the new phone, you would be fine. I just think that you installed another instance of Google Authenticator that is not mirroring the version on the old phone.
@Debbiepaul002 @Debbiepaul001 Something is not working right. If it's not too much trouble and you have not used the google authenticator on the new phone for other applications, you can uninstall it and try above steps again... It should work if completed correctly. Take it easy....Cheers
@Debbiepaul002 @Debbiepaul001 Install Authenticator on your new phone.
On your computer, visit Google's two-step verification site and log in to your Google account. ...
Click Change Phone in the Authenticator app section. ...
Open the Authenticator app on your new phone and tap Begin > Scan barcode.
@Debbiepaul002 @Debbiepaul001 Sorry about your other account. Above steps should help in restoring the former Google authenticator on your new phone...
@Debbiepaul002 @Debbiepaul001 Hi Debbie... sorry about your former account; it's not lost though. I believe you can recover your former Google Authenticator on the new phone by:
Install Authenticator on your new phone.
On your computer, visit Google's two-step verification site and log in to your Google a/c
