I was complaining earlier in the year why they make phone screens so bad no with text so small it’s hard to read. My bro handed me a pair of reading glasses and it was like jumping in to the future 🤣 for food packaging though I take a pic and let chat gpt tell me what to do. I’m sure this was the main reason for the development of ai.
I don’t think you’re wrong. In Germany you walk down once busy streets on an evening and every restaurant is empty. Seems like 1 in 3 shops is closed in the malls, the owners of pubs I go to tell me they’re on the brink. Layoffs everywhere. We’re just at the start of it and next six months this will be brutal I think.
Golf in 2026 absolutely has a behaviour problem.
Last week, some guy hit his approach from 100 yards while we were still putting on the green. His ball landed and rolled past our feet.
His explanation? “I didn’t see you.” Which translates as ‘I didn’t look’. We also had no one behind us, and we guess he jumped some holes.
Germany requires golfers to pass a Platzreife test covering rules and etiquette before being allowed on a course, but they teach people nothing and is clearly a money grab.
I’ve played for nearly 40 years, and I’ve never experienced as many dangerous incidents as I have this year.
It’s not about golfing ability. It’s about basic respect for other people on the course
Does golf have a behaviour problem?
TG spoke to an industry expert, who said disciplinary action involving club members is “through the roof”.

@Mim_Tant I’ve never had a conversation with anyone that does it or gets it, but when I’m on a flight basically everyone there does it 🤣 I just sit back and wait my turn. No stress.
@kelvinbuildss I’d go for the 10 who complain. You learn much from them! I personally reach out to users who I see appear to have had some problems, it’s 50/50 if they engage. Understandable though, it’s not their job to help me perfect my product. It’s great when they do though
Well, this is a first. I’ve written a book!
After 10 months of writing, rewriting and wondering why I started, Nobody Told Me Either is officially published on Amazon!
It’s a guide to golf etiquette for beginners. All the stuff nobody tells you before your first round, but everyone somehow expects you to know.
I’ve been playing golf for nearly 40 years, and I still remember how intimidating it can be when you’re starting out.
So I wrote the book I wish someone had given me.
Will it become a bestseller? Certainly not. But I’m rather chuffed to have actually finished it!
Available on Amazon now.
