@saintdru_@JayMMAYT A lot of you guys don’t realize illia took life altering damage, this isn’t a video game where you’re health bar comes back he’ll physically never be the same again, god only knows the effect it had on his mental
@opium_ger@complexity708@JayMMAYT@ChampRDS It’s just fight politics at that point, nothing more nothing less, it would make sense for an immediate rematch if it was a usman vs Leon situation, yan vs aljo 1, but this is equivalent to tony Ferguson getting a rematch after the beating he took from Justin
@SigKole@KickStreamingHQ That’s cause Jon was arguably the better wrestler of the two, he had elite knowledge and experience in wrestling and vice versa so it made “grabbing” each other a chess match, take a boxer with literally no grappling experience and it’d be like playing with a child
@ChiefingIsRude@t0livas@IanFukino@TheRealDfea Aye man, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it, I don’t see these type of games taking a leap, since Batman Arkham they’ve found a pretty solid formula, kinda like mortal kombat or fighting games in general, you’re always gonna have highs/lows zoners etc
Just so we’re clear:
When the Chiefs win, it’s rigged.
When the Chiefs are getting their ass kicked: NFL is the greatest and fairest sport in America.
Y’all are clowns.
As a black belt, this is how I prefer to roll, not driven by personal development or even the enjoyment of it. I roll because it is good in and of itself.
I strive to give of myself generously and to take what comes my way openly, without apology. Most of my time on the mat is spent guiding others, helping them navigate Jiu Jitsu. But when it’s my turn to roll, it becomes an experience that exists purely for its own sake.
Jiu Jitsu is a ritual, not an outlet for pent-up emotions, nor is it a stage for personal theatrics. It transcends the release or display of personality. If anything, it functions as an escape from emotion and personality.
Within this space of calm detachment, there emerges a kind of vision or fluency. This vision is the capacity to take the unpredictable and the unforeseen and seamlessly integrate it in a way that brings new meaning and value. Instead of feeling destabilized by the unexpected, allow it to deepen your perspective.
The question is not how to avoid disruptions, but how to dance with them, absorb them, and become more adaptable through the encounter.
