En la mayoría de las películas malas, los eventos de la escena podrían pasar en cualquier lado y no habría diferencia) para enviarnos mensajes. Las tradicionales líneas verticales que aíslan o unen personajes, luz y oscuridad mostrando incredulidad, indiferencia, o falta de confianza, la importancia del foco escénico para que la audiencia sepa qué es lo importante, aunque haya muchas cosas en la pantalla. El movimiento armónico de la cámara, a veces simbolizando un espectador (es decir, la toma es a la altura de los ojos) y a veces rompiendo ese paradigma (como cuando atraviesa una ventana).

Las producciones al vapor de Netflix y demás nunca tienen todo esto. Sin mencionar la calidad de las actuaciones.
