Taking the low end of Bill’s math, Harvard’s $53B is actually ~$36B and $7B of debt or $29B of net assets if you factor out all of their debt. That said, this $29B is now more accurately marked to market but the illiquidity is still a problem.

They better get a deal done with President Trump because their liquidity profile doesn’t really allow them any other option.
