How to find a job in Web3
You’ve been asking — here it is.
The only guide you’ll ever need to land your first (or next) Web3 role.
Mods, CMs, collab managers, writers, designers, devs — this longread is for you 🧠
Even with 0 XP, if you’re consistent, you’ll get results.
Let’s go 👇
---
➣ Where to start?
You don’t need 100 tabs open.
Focus on these 3 sources:
1. Web3 job platforms
2. Twitter search
3. Alphabot (underrated alpha)
Each one has its own strategy — breaking them down next 👇
---
➣ Web3 job platforms
Use these 2 (don’t overcomplicate):
1. Rethinkable: https://t.co/GFx1bLBP4j
→ Build a profile once = your resume
→ Filter by role, time, salary
→ Full/part-time gigs for all skills
2. Superteam: https://t.co/4nuXzpcXKX
→ Creative bounties: write, meme, design
→ Projects post tasks + budgets
→ Less competition, high upside
---
➣ Twitter job farming
Most people scroll. You search.
Here's the move:
• Pick a niche (NFT, DeFi, etc)
• Track phrases like “drop wallet”, “discord soon”, “WL giveaway”
• Discover early-stage projects
• Slide in their DMs and offer value
No DM spam. Just real convos.
---
➣ Alphabot = early-stage goldmine
Two tabs matter:
1. Projects — Filter by mint date (no date = early)
→ Click through, find Discord
→ Reach out before anyone else
2. Raffles — Go to their social links
→ DM or open a ticket
→ Offer to help: mod, collabs, CM
---
➣ How to vet a project
Before you shoot your shot:
• Check their Twitter
→ Bio + pinned tweet = the vibe
→ <1K followers = good
→ <5 tweets = very early
• Jump in Discord
→ See if there’s staff (mods, CMs)
→ Empty = opportunity
---
➣ Outreach strategy (save this)
Once you’re in the Discord:
1. Open a ticket
2. Introduce yourself
→ Who you are
→ What you’ve done
→ What you can offer
→ Share portfolio / resume
→ Tag the founder (if needed)
Keep it short, clean, human.
---
➣ Tips that actually work
• Don’t mass DM
• Write unique intros
• Show up in chat
• Offer help, not hype
• Be open to hybrid deals (partial upfront + results-based)
You’re not begging — you’re bringing value.
---
🧾 Summary:
• Use job sites, Twitter, Alphabot
• Find early projects, reach out early
• Build a clean intro + proof of work
• Stay consistent — 10 shots = 1 hit
• Get in, prove value, scale from there
You don’t need connections. You need consistency.
So, you’ve started building your presence. What’s next?
Start applying — but don’t waste time on outdated job boards.
Here are 4 actual Web3-native platforms where real projects are hiring:

These aren’t just listings — they’re doors.
But it’s on you to knock: apply smart, engage with teams, and follow up.
Visibility + initiative = unfair advantage.
