My research article on the impact of fast-track routes on social work students continuing on mainstream university programmes is now out in an issue. Anyone needing access just DM me your email.

Its very sad that for the next few years children social care & resources will be focused on a move a national agency model & this will be used by the government to deflect from every concern/issue raised for the foreseeable future.
Child poverty rising? National agency! etc.
An interesting podcast on parenting interventions, not just for the findings, but for the way that host @mgoat73 teases out the research methods and process with the researchers. Paper is worth reading too! @HigginsMartyn@sallyboyle88@JitkaVseteckova

Tory MPs could only squirm as @Keir_Starmer delivered that devastating assessment of @BorisJohnson conduct. Whether the PM’s admirable leadership on Ukraine will be enough to negate his reprehensible attitude to his own rules will be for voters to decide.
PM: “It did not occur to me then or subsequently that a gathering in the cabinet room just before a vital meeting could amount to a breach of the rules. That was my mistake and I apologise".
So, his defence for misleading MPs: ignorance of the Met's interpretation of the law.
@DXWQC As a layman who has no time for the current government I would like to give my thanks for your dignified resignation and letter. You are on the right side of history.
@DXWQC Very sorry to read this, but respect your integrity. We need good and competent people in Government. You were both. The loss is the country’s. A sad day.
Boris allies claim "lessons have been learned." What lessons? That it's not okay to make the nation suffer, while secretly partying on? That it's not okay to cover it up and lie about it, again and again?
How could such basic lessons ever need learning?
A bruised @RishiSunak could really make life awkward for @BorisJohnson -and accelerate his own political rehabilitation -by resigning on a point of principle……Not saying he should, just that he could….
