You need to be obsessed. Not interested. Not kind of motivated. Obsessed. Because obsession is what separates the ones who talk from the ones who actually do.
that's i've been thinking about, and tell me if i make sense: it's because, we try to by-pass the articulation while in speech mode, using/avoiding words which makes it's less put sentence but, while typing and writing, we automatically get inclined towards forming articulated sentence as we get conscious about grammar and mapping things in general.
spoke to enough people at the top, you realize the game is actually pretty simple
once basic needs are met, everyone starts chasing the same things
good sleep, a stable relationship, regular workouts, time alone, books, deep focus, eating on time, and freedom from other people’s opinions
funnily enough, you don’t need to reach the top to start optimizing for any of them
being in constant grind mode, stand on the edge or stay in the competition will push many engineers towards bad mental health.
it's important to take care of the brain.

some of the most important parts of being alive are deeply unproductive.. stuff like
wandering, pondering, noticing, loving, delighting, changing your mind, sitting with something you don’t understand, etc.
productivity is an instrumental good but meaning is a terminal one.
@BatsouElef Just asking, do you feel distracted listening to music while working? like the thing you are working on will give you enough dopamine high then constant stimulus and dopamine getting while listening to music
It's really hard to stay focused and contained about learning some skill in this day and age.
Everyone thinks that everything is coming easy but it's not. There are high chances that we might have to pay insanely high cost for taking everything coming easy which one should have it with deep focus

@bhoomikacodes what kind of gap? if you are talking about normal tech guy just know one tool compared to tech twitter guys know 10 different tools that does the same job, normal tech guy is better off.
