Many have asked why I have been so silent these past weeks. I'm heartbroken to say my beautiful, darling wife passed away on Thursday. She had held my heart in her hand from the first moment I saw her and we shared 36 wonderful years together. It was right outside our door and had appeared from nowhere in a clump of dry weeds. Red roses were my wife’s favorite flower. She wore 3 in her hair at our wedding and carried a bouquet of red roses. I had asked her to send me a sign before she passed to say she was ok. It must have been sent by her.

His wife spent years searching for answers. She recognized him in a russian propaganda video. Freed POWs later told her what had happened behind bars: torture, broken ribs, relentless pain.

Then came the message no family should ever receive.

Bohdan Usenko was murdered in russian captivity.

Every murdered POW is another russian war crime.

🗣️ Marc Cucurella: The World Cup final completely changed my opinion of Leo Messi.

From my perspective, he looked frustrated and desperate to win. After I simply asked him, as captain, to calm his teammates because I felt they were becoming too aggressive, I believe he portrayed our exchange to the referee as something it wasn’t. I never made any racist remark, and the whole incident left me deeply disappointed.

That moment made me question the fairness of what happened. To me, honesty and integrity matter just as much as winning. If I feel someone has misrepresented my words, it’s difficult for me to trust or respect them in the same way again.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been my idol since childhood, and my respect for him has never changed. I admire his dedication, discipline, and mentality. In my opinion, he has built his legacy through hard work, perseverance, and merit. That’s why he will always be my greatest football inspiration.
