I am currently writing this from my bed. No, I’m not poorly—I’m fasting, my brain is foggy, and my smartwatch is judging me. But behind the health reset is a deeper realization about how childhood patterns sneak up on us when we least expect it.

@SwintonGroup Nearly an hour into a phone call with you and I've yet to speak to a human. Chat service - pathetic, only a bot and no escalation! All I wanted was to change a direct debit, now I will cancel. #CustomerExperience
The UK fostering system is in a tailspin, and the "solutions" being offered are more of the same. 10,000 new places? Great. But who is protecting the carers already in the system? Certainly not the organisations taking money from the LAs they should be challenging.
The carers are ready. The system is failing. The only thing standing in the way of an unstoppable alliance is "branding."
Put the mission first. Put the carers first.
