In 2.5k freezeout, two regs didn’t like the table and asked floor if they could un reg and come back later (already sat in on the app). Floor said “we can put you in no show” effectively letting them jump in at a later point with a fresh stack + new table. Thoughts?
It’s insane how fucking disgusting this cigarette smoke is at horseshoe and u have to go through it to get fresh air outside and even when u get outside u gotta walk past these retards smoking directly outside the doors
I strongly dislike U.S. Open setups that are this punishing. Shinnecock is just too hard. Challenging is great and I am not asking for guys to tear it up, but when barely missing a shot gets penalized this harshly it stops being compelling and starts being a slog to watch.

Not my US Open.
I applaud looking at the wind forecast and adjusting but this is too cautious. Shinnecock is not supposed to play soft!
Put the teeth back in the course!
Shinnecock Special.
I wanted to make a Driver for the US Open that could showcase some of the features and skills that I use in making my persimmon clubs.
A big shout out to my Buddy Roscoe @KnottyGolf for doing the laser work here. He does great work and his skills, attention to detail are second to none.
For the insert I laminated red white and blue G10 together, then lined the cavity with it. The insert is red fiber with aluminum and Brass pins.
All of the coloring on the Shinnecock logo was done 100% by hand.
My plan for this driver is to engrave the four hole total on the neck..
It's got an X100 shaft in it, and a hand wrapped NOS Neuman Leather grip.
This is not for sale.
I would like to donate it to charity or to the USGA. hopefully someone from the USGA or Shinnecock will see this so please share this post!

For me it’s not (just) a dealer mistake. It’s a floor mistake. It’s the first hand of heads up, I think the floor should always be around to administer and oversee. What else can they be doing at this point? If it’s 60 hands into HU and he needs to go get a water or whatever sure, but always strange to me how floors aren’t super present at FTs catching any error etc.
You know how you fix late reg in poker.
You don’t allow reg with sub 15bb
You don’t pay 15% of the field
You don’t have the min cash be 2x
Wsop is 0 for 3.
Baseball is exempt from federal antitrust legislation because of a 1922 SCOTUS ruling that baseball games occur entirely inside a state, and don’t impact interstate commerce. That was absurd then, as teams travelled all over, and especially absurd now. But it’s a little funny.
