Buffalo has no Michelin stars, but there is Michelin-level talent cooking at DiTondo, where Fabio Consonni and Rita DiTondo have used their Michelin resumes to reinvent the restaurant her great-grandfather Sebasiano founded in 1904.
Three Jewish women gave birth and kept their babies alive inside a Nazi concentration camp. Marked for death, they overcame unimaginable odds to survive.
Eva Clarke says her mother would say, “And in the end, we won,” because their family line goes on. Clarke, now 80, has four grandchildren. https://t.co/KYv77tVMjI
“Dad I came back alive! Dad I came back alive!”
This is the moment Romi Gonen was reunited with her mother and spoke to her father for the first time after 471 days in captivity.
We will never forget this moment ❤️.

Buffalo, which saw one of the worst racist mass shootings, stands with our friends in Pittsburgh who dealt with a horrible anti-Semitic shooting 6 years ago today at the Tree of Life Synagogue.
No American should fear being shot in a public place. We can and must do better.
This seems a distinct possibility. It has to be explored seriously. Bob Woodward was saying before this possibility was raised by Yale Dean @JeffSonnenfeld and Yale Professor of Medicine @hmkyale that his instincts as a journalist pointed to something amiss. He may have been onto something of great significance

If there were a hateful protest against a Black Church or a Latino Church, we would not attempt to “explain” it. We would condemn it.
If there were a hateful protest against a mosque, we would not attempt to “explain" it. We would condemn it.
Why do we, as a society, feel the need to “explain” a hateful protest against a synagogue in Los Angeles?
The attempt to justify unjustifiable attacks against Jews is its own form of antisemitism.
This Yom Hashoah is particularly difficult.
Moshe Ridler, 91, survived the Holocaust as a nine year old and came to Israel by himself where he built a beautiful family.
He was murdered on October 7 by Hamas terrorists.
His grandson said that he was “the best grandfather anyone could ask for. There is nothing that was more important to him than family."
May Moshe’s memory be a blessing.

They said it wouldn't happen, not in our lifetime.
They said we should settle for less than Buffalo deserved.
Few were with us, but facts were on our side.
We fought & the community won a $279M relicensing settlement that transformed the waterfront & will continue to for yrs.
Amazing: #Ravens TE Mark Andrews saved a woman’s life today!
During a flight from Baltimore to Phoenix. A woman suffered a medical emergency and Medical personnel on the flight couldn’t find a strong pulse.
Andrews, who is a type 1 diabetic, got up from his seat and said, “Could it be her blood sugar? I have a diabetic testing kit.”
Andrews gave them his kit to use and her heart-rate stabilized.
Paramedics were able to treat her when the flight landed. 🙏 ❤️

Today, as I mark my last day in Congress, I step away with gratitude in my heart - thankful to the good people of Western New York who entrusted me with this incredible responsibility and opportunity.
Very proud of this team. Resilient. Injuries did them in. There was no margin for error today and 2nd half got away from us. The window is open as long as 17 is behind center. 🪟 #BillsMafia
