Last year 40% of plastic packaging manufactured in, and imported into, the UK contained at least 30% recycled plastic.

The government has committed to evaluating Plastic Packaging Tax, which incentivises businesses to include at least 30% recycled plastic in plastic packaging.

Tomorrow our party faces a choice - I was proud to back @RishiSunak in the leadership contest this summer because he was being truthful about the challenges ahead and had a realistic plan to tackle them.
