🌿Helping you through grief
Hello. Once again a GINORMOUS thank you to everyone for their support this week (and lovely gifts). I've been opening boxes all week, they seem to be multiplying, so I'll

@Shapesofgrief @IrishHospice@goodgrieftrust I totally agree Liz. I wrote a self-help book called One Day At A Time, a page a day for each of 365 days with a small paragraph discussing how you might be feeling, along with a little note suggesting self care. Hilary Scott #grief#griefsupport
@BridgeBooksDro1 You have been busy. What a brilliant collection of books. Customers are enticed in by the variety you stock. Hope your head and feet get respite over Xmas.
Thank you for your courage in sharing both the trauma of losing Alexander and then the long wait for some type of information. Alexander is a presence for so many of us and through him this knowledge will be spread. SUDC needs so much more research. Many, many thanks.
@criminographer@SUDCUK1 But she will know him through all your sharing of your memories, photos and little video reels, which makes him alive for her. I hope that you and your lovely family can plan what you want to do on his anniversary to celebrate the joy he brought you, though far too short a time.

@TBerry924 Every death causes grief. Having experienced the sudden death from cardiac arrest as well as other deaths as a result of illness I wrote my book - One Day At A Time which supports people through 365 days of grieving , with a page for each day exploring emotions. #helpforgrief
The beautiful colours of autumn remind us that seasons keep changing, yet grief can still feel intense and painful despite time passing. My book One Day At A Time illuminates the feelings of grief over 365 days. #grief#feelings#onedayatatime
@griefandhope It is really hard adjusting to the new reality you have been faced with and gradually, as you process through the pain, finding a way to live with that reality. Memories are precious.
-One Day At A Time by Hilary Scott
@stormnoodle Hi Audrey, I would like to recommend my book One Day At A Time written by me, Hilary Scott. It was published in May'22. It has a short passage for each of 365 days of the year gently discussing the feelings of grieving with a brief 'note to self' on each day.
@criminographer I totally agree. As a society there is an expectation that we get over bereavement quickly. The activity of grieving and the need for it is not given adequate attention. There is an expectation to get on with life and get over it rather than try to process emotions.
