@Jairus_Girl @DanRhysJames Thanks for this! I rarely go on twitter these days but will take a look. I loved Jairus's girl and have lent it to a friend with kids. I'll pass on the info!
Latest Christmas hat. For my lovely little boy. A miniature version of his Dad's. I've converted to circular needles now, so no awkward seam. However for the top I had to go onto double pointed needles which I HATE!
Local singing stars from the Market Harborough district will be coming together for a “Night of Musicals” on November 9th at Great Bowden Church in aid of the @Hambofoundation. Tickets are £12 for adults and £3 for under 12s. They can be purchased from @GtBowdenWeltons
For the last few days when I've gone on Twitter/X I've seen right wing posts from a Trump family member (I can't remember who). It turns out I was inadvertently following them, when I haven't ever clicked "follow" on any trump account. Has this happened to anyone else?
Our milkie from @ModernMilkMan is great... Today we received this note! In case it's difficult to read he says "finally got a crate the colour of your front door. It will not be changing now so it matches 🙂"
Really made us smile this morning! Thanks Matty!
Latest bit of knitting: a Nordic stripe hat for Corkie. I've been knitting this in secret while he's out. He's come off social media so I'm able to share!

In an attempt to keep myself sane while I recover I've joined a knit along, alongside 1,000s of folk worldwide to knit myself a "raspberry" jumper out of Icelandic wool. Lots of new skills learned: circular needles, 3 colour knitting and an i-cord collar. So far so good!
Knitting on gas. Pattern from Jo allport's 10,000 hats, a bit of zig zag fair isle in batman colours for my Marvel-ous brother . Couldn't bring myself to knit in black so grey will have to do!
Feel v v grateful for the NHS today as I had a benign tumour removed from my leg which has been causing me a great deal of pain. So many different people have cared for me today from @nottmhospitals. Thankful to them all for excellent and compassionate care.
