Apparently, the wisest demographic are silver spoon-suckling rich kids who globetrot through international private schools, vacation homes, and resorts from adolescence, while the Kants and Newtons, who went maybe 100 miles max from their hometowns their whole lives, are midwits.
As someone who was indifferent to gay marriage and adopted the live and let live perspective. Seeing homosexuality shoved in my face at every direction including schools, corporations, and churches. I watch a tv show and they gay characters going at it. It’s not the trans issue, that is cope. Acceptance of “gay rights” by society made these people comfortable enough to express themselves openly and most people got to see what being gay really means. And shocker most normal people are repulsed by it. People are fine with it in the abstract until they see two homos sucking face in a park or Starbucks. I am not even talking about pride parades.
If we ask, for example: “Is Christianity compatible with liberal democracy?” The question itself is malformed, because Christianity is a spiritual worldview and liberal democracy is a political system.
Apples and oranges.
But “Is Islam compatible with liberal democracy?” is a valid question, because Islam is a political ideology that has a religion inside it.
And the answer is no.
Islam is incompatible with the U.S. Constitution because it is the constitution of another state: the Islamic state.
Some of that state’s citizens, Muslims, want to replace the Constitution of the United States with the constitution of their own.
That is not the kind of thing the freedom of speech was meant to protect.
