Blowing up coal plants and replacing them with natural gas plants is not that beneficial. That’s what this chart is actually showing. Yes we doubled wind/solar in past 5 years. But demonizing natural gas is not a good idea. Natural gas increases the price for consumers but also increases stability and realiability in the grid. Solar/wind decreases price to consumers. But reduces stabilization and reliability. So what we need is a diverse portfolio of energy production for both stability and price control. Prolly should keep ramping up solar until 40% then leave the rest to natural gas for stability. Later in the years down the road when solvent the battery storage problem the. We can get rid of natural gas and go 100% solar/wind because with batteries we can stabilize the grid with solar/wind. The we can have really low price and really high reliability. But until then. We need natural gas/coal.

I wouldn’t say leading it into recession. I would say allowing the recession to commence with a “controlled crash” like a plane that is 💯 going to crash. Rather then keep the plan up in the air allowing inflation to get worse and worse. He saying ok if we keep this up the plane is going to explode. We must get out of the air and do our best with the crash landing and crash maybe over water with a reduced speed as much as possible so that we all survive the crash. We will all suffer a bit. But it’s better then we die mid flight.

I agree with you. But also I would like to add, the probability that a protester has any kind of real assets are unlikely. I would bet that the individuals protesting do not have a retirement account. They are of the have nots. Hence their anger. They mad that life is unfair. “Why him/ he has and not I? No Fair!”
