Hope Initiatives Southern Africa (HISA), started its work in Namibia in 2004. Prior to that, it ran as a soup kitchen in an informal settlement called Okahandja Park. This Organization fed 50 children, and the number grew to 250.
As the 16 Days of Activism draws to an end, we observe Human Rights Day. This day serves to highlight ongoing human rights issues and draw attention to violations such as discrimination, violence, inequality, and injustice. #humanrightsday#oureverydayessential ❤️💙🤍

A group of young men competed in a friendly tournament organized by our Peace Corps Volunteer in Tsandi. The event was held to commemorate the Day of the African Child & raise awareness about mental health;highlighting importance of both youth empowerment and emotional wellbeing.
Hope Initiatives supports young mothers who travel from nearby villages to give birth at Tsandi State Hospital. On this particular day, the organization provided essential supplies—including diapers, sanitary pads, and food—to help ease their journey into motherhood. 💜🩷💕
