To illustrate:
I’ve created this map of “Effective Imperial Space” in 1914 on the eve of WWI, looking at population density, total area claimed, and isochrone mapping with overlaid telegraph / train distance between each population centre.
There might be some mistakes in numbers etc but very small.
I'm building a browser that has no extensions.
Instead, you just type your *mod* and it creates the modification on the fly. And you can mod anything.
Here's an example where I remove all images and videos from tweets.
You can now set Claude Code's output style to Concise.
Claude leads with the result, keeps responses short, and still gives full detail when you ask.
Turn it on in /config → Output style, or set "outputStyle": "Concise" in settings.json.
Its crazy how the consensus shifted away from Claude being the favorite to Codex
It’s not just Vibes. Things favoring codex:
- Better harness (Codex Desktop)
- Better pricing: more things included within subscription (fast mode etc). bonus - constant resets from Tibo 😅
- Less refusals / false positive safety triggers
- You can use subscription freely wherever you want (Opencode, Amp, etc)
When you add all these up it makes codex significantly more attractive. There is likely an industry lag of people still using Claude but feels like it’s gonna swing back
Our lab built the highest-quality quantization for running Ideogram 4 on consumer GPUs. Our Q4_K build outperforms the standard NF4 baseline in both image and text quality at the exact same 10.4 GB size, while our INT8 matches the uncompressed FP8 ceiling. 🧵👇 @ideogram_ai
Been using Opus 4.8 and GPT 5.5 side by side for various tasks. Opus (high) still clearly the winner though 5.5 xhigh is 95% there. Fast mode also makes it great. It does write better than Opus - no em dashes, etc... though Opus is more consistent with html formatting/more robust
I regret to say, that for a customer support company, @Zendesk customer support is unusually bad...a wall of delays and deflections until you get to something real.
@_dhamidi@AmpCode A few times I’ve had dangerously allow permissions toggled on and I had no idea how it got turned on. And there’s no way to know really unless I open the settings file. But there’s several possible settings files.
