HAE is a group of aero engine enthusiasts who own, restore and ground run iconic aero engines, to encourage a wider public interest in our engineering heritage.

HAE were invited to display two historic aero engines over the weekend, at the @SantaPodRaceway. A Bristol Hercules radial aero engine, and a Rolls-Royce Merlin aero engine. The weather was perfect with great visitor numbers and interest in our aero engine heritage.
5th March 2026; the 90th anniversary of the first flight of the Spitfire. A celebration event hosted by Landau UK, who own a factory on the original site of the Supermarine Factory on the River Itchen, Southampton. An invited list of local dignitaries and business leaders.

Looking forward to supporting @RAFMUSEUM London and their "1940s Week" starting, 28th May until 2nd June. HAE will display a Rolls-Royce Merlin aero engine, originally installed on an Avro Lancaster bomber.
