We are progressing a small dig of national importance to prove a unique #Celtic chariot run attributed to king #Tincomarus, representative of Rome and friend of Augustus. Inspired by their Circus Maximus, we believe he built this one here.

And finally, the first hammered coin from today. It’s worn, but it’s a penny from the reign of.....King John!! It was minted in York by a man named Davi sometime between the years 1203 & 1204. Meaning it’s 815/816 years old. I bloody love it I do 🕺🕺🕺😂😂❤️

And here’s my first hammered coin of 2018. Its a penny of one of the first 3 King Edwards, so dates between 1272 & 1377 & it was minted in York. Hopefully I can get a positive identification soon ❤️
