Any information on Irish wrestlers in New Zealand? Only thing I found is Paul Boesch on his arrival to NZ commenting on Dan O'Mahony's loss to Shikat. From the Evening Star on May 15th 1936

@PWHistoricalS @TimHornbaker Checked my archives overnight. The 1907 event I have saved is a collar and elbow event. But I found a few new leads on catch wrestling events possibly as early as 1901 and will be researhing more today. Thanks for your tweet which led to this :)

@PWHistoricalS @TimHornbaker It certainly counts and in my book will be referenced along with other stories pre-1920s that occured on the island. From my understanding the Dublin Wrestling Committee events in August 1907 were the traditional collar and elbow style not 'all-in'/professional (predetermined)
