Looking forward to this #tmhi @TMHistoryIcons @ClaireKennan 💕we made a Medieval Town Trail for Carlisle Y7 were ‘pilgrims’ visiting castle, cathedral, tithe barn, west walks, toll gates @MikeBloy74 we had a fair, a feast & some wassailing! 🤩
Invested a lot of time this year in showing students that their teachers sanction them because they care. It’s taken a while but is starting to get through.
‘If your teachers didn’t care do you think they’d bother trying to help you be the best version of yourself?’
We are preparing students to be successful… but we also need to prepare them to fail. Life is not easy. We need to teach students how to overcome adversity.
@purplemermaid25@SapereBooks Absolutely loved it, couldn’t put it down and have been hunting down your books ever since. The idea of alternative histories is fascinating - perfect escapism for a history nerd. Can’t wait for the new one!
@NRaheem06 @mrsstxo @MrTs_NQTs Couldn’t agree with this more! We take it to heart and over analyse it - they don’t give it a second thought and will just come in tomorrow expecting a normal lesson! Your challenge is to reset and give them one.
This is next level amazing , structured to give actionable changes to integrate seamlessly every day; aimed at breaking the cycle of frustration & self sabotage behind the underachievement of our boys. #ECT#teacherlife#edutwitter#theboyquestion
