As a strategic area for security, energy, environmental monitoring and underwater communications, the Underwater technology today represents one of the most important sectors for investment to develop new solutions and meet future challenges.
Consolidating our leadership role in this sector, we presented our long-term strategic vision for the development of the underwater segment during the "DEEPDIVE – Analyst and Investor Underwater Day," outlining our clear and ambitious path of industrial growth in this area, which has accounted for about 4% of Group revenue in 2024, and is set to double in 2027, reaching 8%, with expected revenue of approximately 820 million euros and estimated EBITDA of 152 million euros, with an EBITDA margin approaching 19%.
Within this framework an important MoU - signed between our subsidiary IDS and Graal Tech S.r.l., a leading Italian company in underwater mechatronics – will entail exclusive collaboration for the development and commercialization of small and medium-sized autonomous underwater vehicles and the creation of a national center for testing, qualification, and training to develop new professional skills in underwater robotics.
We are proud to confirm and reinforce our role as a key player in the underwater sector, building solid relationships with highly specialized local firms, based on sharing our expertise and working side by side for a safer and more innovative future.

Volume 99 Issue 4 | International Affairs | special section on Asian perspectives is a superb resource. Most articles are incredibly interesting… the paper on China and international order left me puzzled though. Not sure if naive, or blind to reality. https://t.co/28UDeyQrvD
