@Psyvariar I just got a PS5 and was looking forward to playing some of the tables I had bought in the past, but it looks like most of the tables are not available on the PSN anymore? For instance, I can't find Attack from Mars anywhere while I have Addams Family in there. Any idea?
Let's be clear. Eli Lilly should apologize for increasing the price of insulin by over 1,200% since 1996 to $275 while it costs less than $10 to manufacture. The inventors of insulin sold their patents in 1923 for $1 to save lives, not to make Eli Lilly's CEO obscenely rich.
@sternpinball Early 90s: I have a vivid memory of being scared by FunHouse, weirdly enough. There was a Addams Family next to it. But somehow, I would play a not-so-great machine because it would give you 5 balls/game. I guess it must have been quite bad since I can’t remember what it was!
3/ On the way back, I gate-checked my carry-on again because most planes don't have enough overhead bin space due to insane bag fees. My bag didn't make it and I had to wait 24 hours for it to be delivered. @AmericanAir I will fly your competitors next time, this is ridiculous.
1/ Had a really terrible time flying with @AmericanAir. Paid $1200 for a round-trip ticket from PA to IA and it took 24 hours to reach our destination. We sat 45 minutes on the tarmac of CLT's airport so that we missed our connecting flight by 5 minutes. Why not waiting for us?
@AmericanAir 2/ Instead we were sent to DFW, arriving at 1 am there to spend the night in a hotel so that we could fly the next morning. Of course, I had gate-checked my carry-on to save time in CLT so that I had no change of clothes.
@xfinitymobile Talked to a 4th agent of @xfinitymobile tonight. After making me turn on and off my phone again (ha!), they concluded I need to visit a Xfinity store to replace my SIM card. I guess the agent this morning managed to brick my SIM card. I didn't know this was even possible.
@xfinitymobile has undoubtedly the most incompetent customer service I have ever seen. I chatted this morning with an agent to activate international roaming and they proceeded to cancel my line, create a new one, somehow port my number and I have now zero service. 1/x
The third agent of @xfinitymobile was apparently in touch with the "advanced team". You have to wonder what kind of training these people get. I am now going to be 6 weeks abroad without a working phone. I was a happy customer of more than 4 years. Guess what, I am not anymore!
@EThyroidCancer Absolutely, I was only commenting on the article.
It is simply tiring to read these statements about T3 and NDT over and over when there is so much anecdotal evidence out there.
@EThyroidCancer@UCLAHealth@Bianco_Lab 3/3 Many thyroid-less patients suffer needlessly, reinforced by obsolete views. Options exist, and dessicated thyroid medication is part of the solution in some cases.
@EThyroidCancer@UCLAHealth 2/3 Dessicated thyroid pills have a strict amount of T3 and T4. This used to be a problem 40 years ago, not anymore. Many people with peripheral conversion issues benefit from these preparations. We really need those clinical trials going, @Bianco_Lab.
@MaliniGuptaMD@AmThyroidAssn@TheEndoSociety@TheAACE Absolutely! There are also consequences beyond the cancer itself: losing your thyroid and having to deal with (imperfect) thyroid replacement therapy for life is not always as easy as patients are told.
