@tomvdbogaart iOS first, always. validate demand with the smaller but louder crowd, then expand. cross-platform is a reward for surviving, not a starting strategy.
@KarwanAtta3 no single moment — just death by a thousand redirects. every link bouncing through 3-4 hops before landing and the importer kept timing out 😅
@LouayBarraq claude, no-brainer right now. the models are just that good — you get way more usage, especially if you use opus as the orchestrator and have it build the code out with sonnet
@KarwanAtta3 You can’t IMAGINE how many different variations of recipe text different authors have 😅
Still working on distribution tbh, so luckily haven’t had any angry folks. Though I’m always working on making it better!

Got a great Recipe Importer (think ReciMe but no bloat and cheaper) - Kitchen Inbox (https://t.co/6YAjONYXKH)
And an app to write blurbs outside of your main notes app - JotBox (https://t.co/4IMsCS87zY)
@spacedevin https://t.co/dhwdmAllzJ: small, no-account apps for Mac, iPhone, and iPad. Recipe saving (Kitchen Inbox), quick notes (Jotbox), chore reminders (Nudge Log), an Outlook .msg viewer (Msg Peek) and Messenger without the rest of Facebook (HoagieMessage). No trackers, no sign-up.
@iamericpereira have you actually seen this work for small indies? I've shipped a few apps and never sent the email — figured they wouldn't look twice at a solo dev
@isbkch honest answer: still figuring it out. my launches got crickets. but I did feel like I kept iterating for no one until I ACTUALLY released something
