Saving energy in the lab is suprisingly simpel: increase the temperature of -80 freezers to -75 or even -70 and declutter/defrost all fridges/freezers for more efficient usage ❄️ pass it on :)

An easy way to save energy and reduce a lab's carbon footprint is to consider raising the temperature of -80°C freezers to -70°C. Just because a freezer can run at -80°C, doesn't mean it has to.
