@Steelius@au_tom_otive Love to know how the UK compares to other European countries for price per kWh, something tells me the French ain't paying that while away from home
@Peston I don't understand how the manufacturers can't produce a phone that can be truly locked and made useless without a correct log in. Apple are able to lock down parts from phones being installed in other devices so it must be possible.
@GMB All boils down to profiteering. Manchester airport has more bars than shops so they clearly will be against any restrictions especially when they can charge extortionate amounts. From the minute you step through security you're offered alcohol within 50 yards of duty free.
@KingBobIIV If we go to war with a nuclear power and anyone crazy enough to use them not sure people running around with guns is going to do much good to be honest
@lifeontheloch@thatginamiller They didn't even consider take out / delivery only at the time to mitigate the risks. Probably thought people wouldn't have been able to drink and spend as much money. Unbelievable
@MmzelleFrenchie @JaneRackham2@Otto_English Agree, I think the furore sums up Britain perfectly. People getting worked up over a Christmas advert and completely ignoring the real issues.
@TheJamzeFisher @PTButler1972@AvonandsomerRob Next it'll be because it had an ebike in the boot , and then a couple of aa batteries in the glove compartment
@nicola1818@ImproviseLife@tesssummers98@TalkTV One thing for sure if you closed the tubes they'd be a lot more pollution with the thousands transported everyday plus it'd be gridlock. They don't cause pollution to the wider area and residents like the main roads running through housing areas.
@WillK59747733 @alba_187 @mrjamesob Isn't that the main point of the article, she had 8 months remaining on her passport. Most people remainers or brexiteers would assume this to be all good. The irony is that leaving the EU has left us having to jump through more hoops than we needed previously.
@prinnylee@amelia_perrin No, but it says Yorkshire on it so it must be the best. Not sure if Leeds is famous for its tea growing, must be that micro climate.
