Due to lack of time, resources, and support, I’ve had to cancel the Silent Hill 2 Remake: Legacy Project, a mod that aimed to bring back fixed camera angles to the remake.
I'm truly sorry to those who were looking forward to it.
Thank you for your interest and encouragement 🙏🖤
I'd also like to explain why so few news are posted, due to the fact that I'm the only one working on this mod (technical wise), and I have to play the original game and the remake at the same time, which takes a good amount of time. 🥲
Hey everyone,
Project is still in development and I'm currently tweaking the last part of the game (which is one of the most difficult task to do - aswell with the chase sequence).
I'm implementing smooth transitions between those sequences from the dynamic camera perspective.
Hey everyone,
We'll share more news about the mod next week! Stay tuned and thank you for your patience.
Mod is in a playable state but needs improvements, tweaks and we still have areas to review. 👀
The Wiki page on Github will be available aswell.
@RongYuZero Hello,
The cutscenes will stay the same.
Comparison screenshots of the mod will be available :)
Please be a little more patient!
Thank you 🖤
Bringing back the classic chills! 🎮🔪

We have rebranded the phrase "the way it meant to be played" to something else as it was not the intention to discredit Bloober Team. We apologize for the inconvenience.
@LostinSilentH i watched the dude on stream although i dont understand his language, he doesnt seems to be a threat tbh and you have a MUCH MORE larger audience on twitter. Unless he's making diffatimation or saying that his twitter handle handle is the same as you, you cant do nothing :(
