To commemorate the World Blood Donor Day, Wussan Battalion organised an impactful Blood Donation Camp in coordination with Govt. Lalla Ded Hospital, Srinagar on 14 June 2024. 57 points of blood were voluntarily donated by personnel of Wussan Battalion. The Indian Army has redefined the motto of 'Donate Blood Save Lives'.

Wussan Battalion of Indian Army taking part in a relief mission to rescue a Tavera carrying passengers
which lost control and fell into Sindh river near Hung Park, Gund.

⁠As of now 3 pers have been recovered. One has been found dead and 2 others are critical & have been moved to hospital.
Balance persons are being recovered with the help of Army and the locals.

HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE BY ASSAM RIFLES IN KASHMIR VALLEY
Wussan Battalion of #AssamRifles alongwith Indian Army was alerted about a fire enraging in Dar Mohalla of Wussan, Kashmir Valley on 12 March 2024. The troops immediately swung into action and were at the forefront of coordinating efforts to douse the flames, to save lives and property. Eventually the fire was brought under control by the combined efforts of the Assam Rifles, Army and the locals.
