I am deeply appalled and angry to see “Firework” used on the @WhiteHouse TikTok account as a backing track for video footage of military strikes. I did not approve this, I was not asked, and I absolutely do not condone it.
I wrote this song to be an anthem of hope, healing, and inner strength for people going through their darkest personal moments. To see a message of self-worth and upliftment weaponized to soundtrack destruction and violence is a complete violation of everything my song stands for.
My music is for bringing people together, not celebrating warfare.
This Trump–Netanyahu war is unconstitutional and violates international law.
It endangers the lives of U.S. troops and people across the region.
We’ve lived through the lies of Vietnam and Iraq.
No more endless wars. Congress must pass a War Powers Resolution immediately.
.@RepTedLieu: "Donald Trump is in the Epstein files thousands & thousands of times. In those files, there's highly disturbing allegations of Donald Trump raping children, of Donald Trump threatening to kill children."

The murder of VA intensive care nurse Alexander Pretti is the third shooting by federal agents in Minneapolis this month. NO MORE.
All federal agents — ICE and Border Patrol — must be withdrawn immediately from Minneapolis and other cities. NOW.
The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.
As tens of thousands across America protest the violence that ICE sows with impunity, federal agents shot and killed another person in Minneapolis today. ICE terrorizes our cities. ICE puts us all in danger. Abolish ICE.
🚨BREAKING: Virginia’s new Governor Abigail Spanberger was sworn in and didn’t waste a second.
Her FIRST move: repealing Glenn Youngkin’s executive order that pushed state/local law enforcement to cooperate with ICE.
