So, part of that “brutal, unimaginable gauntlet of 4 STRAIGHT RANKED WINS” that Alabama had is a pair of teams who finished with a combined record of 16-10.
Missouri: 8-5, did not beat a team with a winning record.
Tennessee: 8-5, did not beat a team with a winning record.
"Who's played the best team in the country twice? We have... everybody else will find out... I'd love to have a third chance at them."
More from BYU head coach Kalani Sitake on Texas Tech after their second loss to the Red Raiders this season.
@sportsiren Holly, I don’t think your company allows you to speak about BYU so highly. Watch out for the meeting with your bosses soon! (Thanks for the home love! 😉)
I have no sympathy for ND. Join a conference bro. The team that got screwed is BYU as I knew they would. Conference title game doesn’t matter for Bama, just BYU. We knew it wouldn’t make sense and it doesn’t make sense.
The CFP selection process is a joke.
Punish BYU for losing the conference championship game, but don’t punish Alabama and you leave out Notre Dame. The bias has never been more clear.
There are going to be at least three 10-2 Power 4 teams that miss the cut tonight.
But also ... 11-1 BYU?
These guys get no love despite:
-- No. 6 strength of record
-- Wins over 10-2 Utah and at 9-3 Arizona
-- The one loss to 11-1 T Tech
Having BYU behind ND makes college football figure skating or gymnastics. You don’t even need to play the games. It’s so dumb. BYU plays in a power conference. Tougher schedule. They have less losses and better wins. Ruins the whole sport. #provodave#byuscrewed
