@PandouroCircle That sounds very much like my process. I get hit with a brain bomb, then I write down everything I know about the characters and the story, and I wing it from there. This time the bomb was big and I feel very compelled to tell this story.
You're in the midst of your WIP when you're hit with an idea for another awesome story you're excited about. Do you make notes and come back to it when you finish your WIP? Or do you set your WIP aside temporarily and dive into the new story? #WritingCommunity#WritingCommnunity
@GreatnessSeedof I'm so sorry about your grandpa. I know this year you don't feel like celebrating your birthday, but please don't let the anniversary of his passing cloud your future birthdays. Honor him by doing something fun next year. I bet that's what he'd want you to do. ❤
@hmwolfram Your BA will get your resume in front of a staffing manager and all of your other education may get you the interview. If the job requires strong writing skills, you've got an AA in Journalism. Bilingual? AA in Spanish. Having a full toolbox is very attractive to employers.
Help! My WIP is set 500 years in the future and in a scene a character pulls a weapon. Will a gun still be a gun like ours in 5 centuries? Or do you think they'll evolve? If so, how? I know nothing of weapons ... #writingcommmunity#WritingCommunity#scifi
@Kidfos Hmmmm ... I don't know if I want gore, but I do like the idea of messing with people's molecules. I may have to check out this Biggles of which you speak.
