There will be a Parade starting at 10 AM in Bradenton Beach from Coquina Beach park. The parade will travel north through the City of Holmes Beach and into Anna Maria. There will be several road closures between 10 AM until Noon. Please plan accordingly.
Manatee County is opening a pet-friendly “Safe Haven” shelter at Freedom Elementary at 10 a.m. for those residents who wish to evacuate voluntarily should they feel their homes could be compromised due to damage from Hurricane Ian: https://t.co/3jc19m8yDM
#Nicole on track for landfall on our east coast tonight with center of the storm over central Florida Thursday morning. Will be a rough morning commute with winds 30-50 mph and a few higher gusts. The storm is fighting some dry air/shear so significant intensification not likely.

Cameron Evans was located and arrested at his residence by the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office around 10:30 am this morning. All of the suspects in this case have been accounted for. Thank you to the Manatee and Sarasota County Sheriff's Office for their assistance.
The Holmes Beach Police Department has obtained arrest warrants and all local law enforcement agencies are attempting to locate 18 y/o, Cameron Leron Evans of Sarasota, and 17 y/o John William Bartholow of Ellenton. The warrants are for Aggravated Battery regarding this case.
Starting Sunday through Tuesday, the Manatee Avenue bridge will be having urgent repairs made to the deck. The work is to be done during night hours (9pm to 5a) and could involve lane closures. Work will cease if traffic starts backing up.

Today’s red tide report is attached. Conditions are much better today. Little to no signs of red tide. Public Works will continue to monitor and update conditions
