Big news from our lab!🎉 Both of our 2025 national grant proposals were funded — 2 out of 2! With support from Czech Research Foundation and Health Research Council we’ll study how the centrosome is reconstituted after fertilisation and how vitrification affects human oocytes!
Proud to contribute to this paper analysing lipid content of mouse and human oocytes.🥳 Big thanks goes to Reprofit International for recruiting sample donors for this project and long-standing academic-clinical research partnership💪@Science_MEDMUNI@Reprofit1
Our study investigating zygotic cleavage geometry using time-lapse data from IVF embryos has been published in Nature Communications! 💥 🤩 Many thanks to our clinical collaborators from Reprofit International. This work is an excellent example of academic-clinical partnership.
The time-lapse records of preimplantation development obtained during fertility treatment are a real asset for basic scientists seeking to understand the cellular processes happening at the being of our lives. 👨🔬 🔬

“Nature doesn’t understand disciplines. You can’t align biology to your skill sets; you have to ask questions and fearlessly develop the skill sets to answer them.” Thanks to @OtgerCampas for meeting with us! #embryo21@MBLScience@lsprahl @biomathevan @BailonRaisa @manonvalet0
The core member of our lab has just completed his studies at the Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University. Congrats Volodymyr Porokh MD.! Next stage: PhD degree🤩
