Happy to share our Annual Review of Animal Biosciences👇Another collaborative effort with @leo_jwu
Blastoids for Modeling Early Embryonic Development: Application to Domestic Livestock - https://t.co/BjjXF7uP0H
We are presenting valuable datasets of RNAs associated with monosomes and polysomes throughout oocyte and preimplantation development, generated through another fruitful collaboration with Zongliang (Carl) Jiang and his team at the University of Florida.
So happy this paper finally gets published in NAR. Another wonderful collaboration with @AndrejSusor. Spatiotemporal dynamics and selectivity of mRNA translation during mouse pre-implantation development https://t.co/6toBAI4OpZ
Excited to share our new study on embryo m6A👇
A great collaboration with @ChenghangZong@JainLaboratory and Dr. Chuan He lab.
Single-nucleotide Resolution Epitranscriptomic Profiling Uncovers Dynamic m6A Regulation in Bovine Preimplantation Development https://t.co/bVz6W0TslD
We are so excited to share our work on the establishment of bovine extraembryonic endoderm cells and another bovine blastoid model for studying embryogenesis. Congratulations to all co-authors. https://t.co/irnI4vHLCP
We do pretty much the same type of animal experiments/research since 2007 ... a new approval for preparing and analyzing mouse mutants for our research ... I guess some activists who hate all animal research are happy to steal scientist's time & make their lives more miserable.
Feeling festive! Happy to share our new bioRxiv pre-print - investigating the role of calcium in the early embryo (with a festive themed post)

It was a fantastic event in an awesome location! So grateful to the organizers David Drutovic and @AndrejSusor for the invitation and so happy attend! Great scientific discussions, awesome food, lots of fun with @CavazzaLab and @LastChrisThomas and most importantly excellent Czech beer!🍺
We have found that the absence of CDK12 in oocytes leads to complete female sterility, as there are no fully developed oocytes able to accomplish meiosis I in the ovaries.
