To that sweet Man who truly loves me, I need Hi now❤️ Hello honey!❣️ I beg you when you see this don't ignore me💔 I'm not happy and I've been crying for so long.
It's here. Eight years after breaking ground, George Lucas’ $ 1BN new museum is about to open in Los Angeles. The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art will officially begin to welcome the public from 22 September 2026 in the city’s Exposition Park.
Designed by Ma Yansong of MAD, with Stantec as executive architect, the five-storey building (not spaceship) spans around 28,000 square metres and is clad in more than 1,500 individually shaped fibreglass-reinforced polymer panels.
Its 35 galleries provide around 9,300 square metres of exhibition space and will house works from a permanent collection of more than 40,000 objects, spanning painting, illustration, photography, comics and cinema.
The museum sits within a 4.5-hectare campus landscaped by Studio-MLA, replacing a former asphalt car park with gardens, more than 200 trees, an amphitheatre and public spaces.
Co-founded by George Lucas and Mellody Hobson, the project first broke ground in March 2018.
What do you think of the new museum? Is this a good addition to LA?
