@TexansCommenter You might be right, but I also haven’t seen many slot drags or short route plays to really help neutralize the blitz/pressure that CJ gets consistently
@TexansCommenter I give props to Caley for adjusting throughout the season and calling better plays, but he has to help CJ by adjusting some of these routes against some of these plays. Theres a play where CJ had to hold on to the ball due to long developing routes when he was facing a blitz.
@NickSchwagerNFL They made a lot of valid points when it comes to the O-line but idk why they believe the Patriots will “pop” the Texans in the 1st Rd if they were to meet. Pats haven’t played against a playoff team aside from maybe the Bills, Steelers, and Panthers and all are questionable imo
@TexansCommenter I have to disagree. Denver’s play call and design was something that was called at the right time having Rank hit the A gap while Henry was doing as he is supposed to by stepping into the gap to stop the run. Unfortunately Sutton’s job was to move the LB and help create that gap.
@TexansCommenter Guard and TE. I think Woody and Chubb could do some damage on the ground if they had at least a competent line to open up gaps for them. Njoku would be a great option as he has had success both blocking and catching.
