Justice sector stakeholders gathered in Quetta for the 9th Provincial Steering Committee meeting of the Deliver Justice Project for #Balochistan, reaffirming commitment to reforms under the RoL Roadmap initiative funded by @EUPakistan and implemented by the United Nations .

As the @EUPakistan 🇪🇺-funded Deliver Justice Project nears its completion, Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat, Additional Chief Secretary, @HomeDeptGob, Balochistan, chaired the Steering Committee meeting to review the progress of the project jointly implemented by @UNDP_Pakistan, @UNODCPakistan, and @unwomen_pak.

Under this initiative, across Balochistan, #UNDPinPakistan:
📚 Equipped 2,878 individuals (57% women) with legal awareness so that they can claim their rights
⚖️ Improved access to justice for 220 individuals (28% women) through free legal aid
👩‍⚖️ Trained 295 justice sector stakeholders to strengthen people-centred service delivery
🤝 Strengthened Alternate Dispute Resolution through the refurbishment and operationalization of 7 mediation centers, which demonstrated a case resolution rate of 70%.
