COVID-19 has exposed the lethal consequences of our inadequate housing provision. We shouldn’t need to keep telling the government what is needed. The evidence has been there, the solutions have been there and the money surprise, surprise has been there the whole time.

728 rough sleepers died in 2018.

5,000 ppl will sleep on the street tonight.

Rough sleepers in tents outside Stratford Centre #Newham have finally been moved on. And to make sure they cannot go back #NewhamCouncil have found funds to put up barriers to deter their return.
UK Councils must provide sufficient, affordable #Home4all to reduce rough sleeping.

Sadly, the #homeless man known to locals & police as he sit on the corner of a road in #WoodStreet #Walthamstow, was approached by #police yet again who offered him nothing by way of #accommodation, warmth, #food or a job, ONLY #harassment and feather in their caps.

More than 80 #Rough #Sleepers and others were treated to festivities, #Christmas dinner, gifts and dancing today, organised by Tee Fabilo from the Dockland Settlements. Music played by Mojo who cuts hair free of charge in Stratford Centre on #Mondays.
