They'll just shift to 'blind trusts' where they still control the money but claim ignorance. The real fix is term limits and seizing their ill-gotten gains. The World Cup is over and many, including myself, fly home today. I leave with a heavy heart, but also with excitement at the prospect of returning in the very near future. America, Canada and Mexico deserve enormous credit for hosting an awesome tournament. I spent the entire time in America - a country many cynical people said would be a disaster of a host. The truth, in the end, was exactly the opposite. I had the most incredible experience across various US States and Cities during the event, and met so many wonderful, kind and welcoming people in real life, and online. And as you know, I plan to come back to live. More on that soon. So THANK YOU to you all.
