While I'm not finding a lot of issues with Star Wars Battlefront outside of server stuff that will certainly be fixed later, I gotta say that I am not a fan of the AI Upscaled textures.

I wonder if there will be a nostalgia-wave in a decade for these vaseline smears...

I know its more a matter of scaling and cost that leads to an "all or nothing" choice, but the tech as it stands is only good when used selectively. Here it has blurred text, important textures that are in every map, and geometric shapes that would have been easy to vectorize

On one hand, its a technological limit. Like other retro artifacts it will one day be conquered simply by progress and one will have to seek out such an effect. But unlike a lot of older limits, this is one that could very easily be avoided now by hiring the right people
