On this historic 4th of July, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to the people of the United States of America and the President of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump, as you celebrate the 250th anniversary of your nationâs independence.
This remarkable milestone is a powerful tribute to the vision of Americaâs Founding Fathers and to the courage and sacrifices of generations of Americans who dedicatedâand, in many cases, gaveâtheir lives to preserve the enduring ideals of liberty, the rule of law, democracy, and justice. Since declaring its independence in July 1776, the United States has demonstrated to the world that democracy, despite its challenges, can remain resilient, dynamic, and enduring.
During my many visits to the United States and through my interactions with the American people, I have developed a deep admiration for their spirit of innovation, generosity, determination, and unwavering commitment to freedom.
At this pivotal moment in history, the world needs a strong, confident, and engaged United States more than ever to champion the universal values of democracy, human rights, the rule of law, and freedom across the globe.
As you commemorate this extraordinary anniversary, let us look forward with hope and optimism to the next 250 years of peace, progress, and shared prosperity.
Happy Independence Day!
May the spirit of freedom and liberty continue to inspire people and nations around the world.
God Bless The USA!đșđž
When you take office, you swear to uphold the Constitution. As your time runs out, some look for ways around it â or try to tear it apart just to hold on to power.
But there's a time for everything: a time to serve the people, and a time to hand back the power they entrusted to you.
Article 64 of our Constitution doesn't just give every Congolese citizen the right to stand against any seizure or exercise of power that violates the law â it makes it a duty.
I'm exercising that duty. And I stand by it.
I've always said it, and I'll say it again: when you come for the Constitution, you come for the people. And the Congolese people will not stand for it.
