Physical therapy is a weird profession.
You can't take too much credit for your patient's success.
But if you never share how you help them, you never grow your business.
Weird world, but glad to be a part of my patient's journeys.

AFCON INJURY UPDATE‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
It is reported that Vincent Aboubakar of Cameroon national team has suffered a minor thigh injury, the exact depth of the injury in millimeter was not revealed but the mere mentioning of “minor thigh injury” means grade 1 or grade 2 quadriceps/Hamstring strain, in other words low grade strain.
Low grade injuries can heal within several days to 1-2 weeks, which will then see him return to sport/activities.
The length of time it takes to recover from a hamstring or quadriceps strain will depend on how severe the injury is. A minor muscle pull or strain (grade 1) may take a few days to heal e.g (4-7 days) based on the degree of strain in mm it could also take 2weeks but surely not more as described minor, however factors like age, diet, sleep, player’s response to treatment and his mental health influences his recovery period positively or negatively. Now with the expertise of the medical team on board, this should give us the expectation to see Vincent Aboubakar back to play after a week, within or before two weeks if the diagnosis is right as seen published in the news.
