@DataRepublican@elonmusk@DOGE What about engineers that have been working with the Govt for years! Many also risked their careers too, and look at how poorly they are being treated right now ! Same blackball with 10 years of public service on resume.
@agentpolitico@ChuckRossDC See/ this is the point. You’re treating many professional, hard working people that do a good job and benefit the country…. Like shit
@DaveSwinford@ChuckRossDC This is totally reasonable and happens in multiple layers at many government agencies. But in this case- it would be like the HR dept quizzing the entire workforce.
@SammyInsel@ChuckRossDC Would you believe that there are also fed employees that are also in professional roles that make it pretty obvious when there tasks are not completed?
@smallgovlizard@First_a_dad@ChuckRossDC I don’t think most are too worried about a 5 point list. So what.
It’s that the request, which is threatening, is coming from well outside the chain of command. If IT dept told you to do something or you’re fired- what would you do?
@ComradeArthur There is a chain of command . If every fed employee “followed orders” from something the POTUS said on twitter, it would be disastrous and not actually accomplish what was intended. Secretaries give the orders.
@trippwhitbeck@danicamclellan@travj99@yashar You’re assuming the manager is a poor steward. I’ve had these meetings with my supervisor, once a week, for years now. Opm is not in charge of human capital. Each agency has their own hr dept. which is ultimately responsible to the Secretary, who is responsible to POTUS
@deburgo_r@awstar11 The danger with contracting out work is loyalty. Is a contract employee loyal to the contracting company- or the US govt/constitution ?
