@JamesOnekaka @TheRedbaiter No Maori language? That's nonsense. Regional dialects and vocabularies to be sure but all of those Chiefs spoke the same language, could understand each other and single Treaty translation.
If it were as you suggest the treaty would have needed multiple translations.

The 2000 figure comes from an early book of translations from the early 1800s and does not represent ALL of the language used.

@SaffronOlive I think it's fair to say that ramp isn't as good/important as used to be since mana values have dropped and there's more power lower in the curve than in the past.
That said ramp still lets you double spell those cheaper powerful cards sooner!
